Group Information
Eastcombe & France Lynch Scouts and Guides are based in the Stroud and Tetbury District in the County of Gloucestershire (See Finding Us).
The group includes almost every section of the Scout and Guide Movement in one place, and has recently undergone a massive Extension and New Kitchen and Facilities. (See Hall Information)

Charity Information
Eastcombe Scouts and Guides Group are a Registered Charity under the Charity Commission. Our Charity Number is 297238. Under the Charities Act 1993 accounts must be submitted yearly and may be found at www.charity-commission.gov.uk.
Group Status
Long Term Group Objectives:
To provide Scout & Guiding activities and to form an integral part of the wider village community.Present Status as of Jan 2010
Operating as a cohesive unit the Group presently consists of four sections:-
1. Guide sections 1 x brownie pack & 2 x Guide Companies
2. Scout Section 2 x Beaver Colonies, 3 x Cub Packs, 1 x Scout Troop
3. Eastcombe Scout & Guide Hall Management Committee
4. Group Community Associates.
Established over a number of years the associates are additional users of the hall. They afford the Group the opportunity to work and liaise with the community and it assists with the financing of Group activities and hall maintenance.
Associates include:
A major Joint Venture with the Phoenix and Gloucester model Railway Clubs that forms The Cotswold Model Railway Show organisation.
